Rapid Reaction: Eagles' second half surge leads to route of Cal
BC dominated the Golden Bears in the second half to take third place in the Old Spice Classic.
-BC outscored Cal 33-15 in the second half. Led by Joe Trapani, the Eagles stretched their lead from 4 to as much as 23.
-Freshman Danny Rubin was impressive, hitting some clutch threes. This guy is a sharpshooter and can really help us.
-Reggie Jackson scored just 11 points, but I was happy to see he wasn't forcing too much like he was in the Wisconsin game.
-Overall, I think it was a very successful weekend for the team. They picked up two solid non-conference wins, while playing a very good Wisconsin team tough for a half. This should give the team confidence going forward.
-The Eagles head home to take on Indiana on Wednesday night as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. This is a chance to get another nice little non-conference win. Go BC!
